Tarts & Arts in the Park Festival Poster
It was a perfect summer day to hold the Tarts & Arts in the Park Festival. Robert Simpson Park is a stunning, picturesque park on the Ottawa River. It is a wonder venue for families and friends to explore. Linda's tent was popular with the crowds and paintings sold quickly.


Display Tent for Linda Standing
Many of Linda Standing's paintings were set up on both sides of the grids. The spacious tent was set up for easy access to view the paintings up close.


Welcome Painting Display
The Festival organizers did an awesome job of welcoming the public, with providing every vendor with a vase of freshly cut sunflowers. Tents were nestled under mature trees and were spaced out in a large circle, with a view of the water. The live entertainment was festive and the butter tarts sold quickly!


Village Life - #270
Village Life sold quickly to a thrilled customer. The Amish village is full of life, family and all about a community living harmoniously. You can spend a great deal of time studying the details and vibrant colours of this exquisite painting.

The various farm scenes and village life of Linda Standing's folk art paintings display well in the bright sun.


Linda Standing - Side of Tent
The top, bright painting of a quirky man riding his bicycle sold quickly. Many people were disappointed because they wanted to purchase it also! Chickens are a common theme in Linda Standing's paintings.


Linda Standing - Back Wall
The crowds were big as people gathered to look at the collection of paintings on the back wall. The red sold stickers went up quickly as customers ensured that no one else scooped up their purchase. So many amazing choices of folk art paintings by talented Linda Standing!


Linda Standing - Inside of Tent
Look carefully at the top painting, Just Married, it shows a happy young Amish couple riding away as they celebrate their marriage. Everyone is grateful and happy. Notice the middle painting with a scalloped edge - it is a repurposed wooden table top. Linda Standing often paints on found objects for her paintings. She is an Earth Angel who respects the environment.


Linda Standing - Painted Tiles & Smalls
Friends often donate left over ceramic tiles from renovations, where Linda creates colourful, miniature folk art scenes. The tiles are popular sellers.
